‘Fantastic Mancini-Guarin bond’
Fredy Guarin’s agent has praised the ‘fantastic relationship’ he has with Inter Coach Roberto Mancini.
The Colombia international scored the decisive goal in Sunday’s 1-0 Milan derby win, but agent Marcelo Ferreyra remains ‘calm’ about a contract renewal.
“There are two secrets to Guarin’s rebirth – hard work and the desire to fight, always,” Ferreyra said to CalcioMercato.com.
“Fredy always gives his best, he has shown that in the last few years and also in the derby. It was an enormous joy, I’m very happy.
“There’s a fantastic relationship between Guarin and Mancini. The lad has total confidence in his Coach, he had hoped to work with someone as important as Mancio and is taking advantage of this opportunity. It’s certainly a decisive factor.
“His relationship with Dejan Stankovic is another secret to his success. I must say that he’s a fantastic person – for Fredy he’s a friend, a guide and a man with a good heart. They’re getting along very well and Stankovic’s return to Inter is helping a lot.
