Inter chief executive Ernesto Paolillo has put an end to any transfer rumour in regards to Palermo hitman Edinson Cavani joining the Nerazzurri in January.
Paolillo has not had any contact with Pierpaolo Triulzi, the Uruguayan's agent, and stipulates that there is no need to being in any reinforcements because of their league position.
"We have had absolutely no contact with the agent," Paolillo told Mediagol.it. "We have not even thought about who or what type of player we need.
"Currently, we are at the top of the league with a few points advantage.
"They may not give a lot of security, but they do provide some respite.
"The last thing we should be worrying about is what our position should be in January in regards to the transfer market," concluded the chief executive.
